Bloatware

Imagine if cars were sold like pc computers.

The tires were trial sized. They only lasted 5,000 miles then you had to decide if you wanted it and you can only get that brand again or you’d lose them completely.

Or if after 60 days your doors locked and you had to pay extra per month to keep them open.

Or maybe it was like hulu might be. You fall in love with your car and it’s features but then the auto maker decides they want to tax you quarterly for using their product and if you don’t some features like the sat nav won’t be functional or ads are displayed every time you’re at a red light.

So why do we out up with this in the electronics world?

Just a thought.
